Raleigh, N.C. — A Fayetteville man has been sentenced to jail time for sexual assault towards a 17-year-old woman whereas on a flight headed to Raleigh-Durham International Airport.
Ryan Eugene Larned was sentenced to 10 months in jail, 5 years’ supervised launch and a $2,000 effective.
Court paperwork reveal that Larned, whereas on board an American Airlines flight from Charlotte to RDU, was seated subsequent to a woman flying alone.
A launch from the Department of Justice famous that Larned abruptly started touching the woman’s groin and put his fingers insider her pants with out her consent. He put his jacket over each of them to hide his actions from different passengers.

The woman, a junior in highschool, reported the assault instantly.
Larned, 38, will even must register as a intercourse offender. He pled responsible in July 2021.
